Why Is It All The Same?

An exploration of why my trip to B&N disappointed me.

So, every week I go to B&N with a good friend of mine. It’s part of our weekly routine where we go to Starbucks and get overpriced coffee and pastries then wander through the store looking at what’s out. We’ve been doing this for a while now, and I’ve been noticing a few things that just plain disappoint me.

This is going to probably sound a little like an “old man yells at clouds” kind of discussion, but it’s more than just me grumbling about modern trends. While the modern trends aren’t my favorite, it’s a symptom of a bigger problem. And that problem? That’s affecting everyone.
