Hello, I just stumbled on your substack maybe a month (?) or so ago, and have been really enjoying it. I had to comment on this one because I just saw a live Old Gods of Appalachia Show in Boulder in July! I had never heard of the podcast before -- but the show was wonderful and your suggestion that it might be good for folks who struggle with attention while reading was excellent. I was really impressed at how quickly they must write, revise, and produce short fiction for the show, and how successful they've been with it. Definitely folks to check out. I'd also add the LeVar Burton Reads podcast as a suggestion, too. Anyway, thanks for the excellent posts!
Oh yeah, I love OGoA. They're AMAZING! I'm also a huge fan of LeVar Burton. Reading Rainbow was my jam as a kid (is anyone surprised?). Thank you for adding that wonderful suggestion!
