It's been a WEEK
No writing wisdom. Just AAAAH.
I missed publishing Monday, and I apologize. It’s been a week. My book launch went well, but the weather knocked the stuffing out of me, so I’ve spent the week doing very little. I’m also having some other minor health difficulties that are causing me havoc. Nothing to worry about in the broad scheme of things, but enough to knock me off my game.
Also, last night, the Cat Distribution System struck, and we found a new cat in our basement. We are trying to find her family since she was obviously a pet at one time, but if we can’t find her family… I guess she’s ours now?
There’s been some disagreement over what to name her. I’m leaning toward Dungeon Master since she was in our basement (which, since we have a 300 year old house with a dirt basement is absolutely a dungeon). Another friend suggested Tarrasque. Someone else suggested “Daisy, the flower from the darkness”. I’m biased toward DM, though.
What do you think? What should we name her?

You can call her "Dung" for short...
I like Poe. it's nice and short. (Of course, your Jay will probably corrupt the name to Poo.) Our latest stray acquisition, a real love bug, is Bob. He followed on the heels of an earlier stray acquisition, a tiny kitten at the time, who is Baby to this day. We seem stuck in the "B's," since we had occasional black visitor we arbitrarily called Blackie, only to learn his home base family had named him Merlin, despite the lack of magical symbols imbedded in his fur.
